Jessie McGee

Jessie Lee McGee, a creative New Yorker raised in the East Village, is a multimedia artist and poet based in Manhattan. Born in coastal Massachusetts, Jessie draws much inspiration for her poetry from her early childhood there, as well as from her struggles and triumphs with mental illness and substances growing up in New York. 

Jessie's paintings reflect her journey through the cyclical nature of life, and multifaceted personality and identity development. She is proud to participate in her first gallery show with The Bridge Arts Institute, and looks forward to creating and showing more in the future.
